SUBMIT POST

Want to earn chapter recognition so your local NSSLHA Chapter can be recognized on NSSLHA Day? You can now do so by submitting a post to the NSSLHA Blog!
Just e-mail a post submission (with pictures if you have them!) to nsslha.blog@gmail.com. The post can be anything related to CSD students, NSSLHA, or a service project your chapter has done. See below for more ways to receive chapter recognition!
Gold
Chapters receiving “Gold” level recognition must meet these criteria:
- In good standing with the national association
- Donation to “NSSLHA Loves” of $500 or more
- Submission for Chapter Advisor Honors or Chapter Honors, and for Member Honors
- Submission of grant application (McKinley Regional Project Grant or Community Service Grant)
- Participation in CSD Career Awareness month
- Participation in two or more advocacy activities (write Senator or House representative, provide your Regional Councilor representative with a letter of advocacy to bring to Capitol Hill, meet with your local or state Representative)
- Engagement in social media/promotion of the NSSLHA chapter (This includes submission of video to NSSLHA’s You Tube page, providing content for a NSSLHA Podcast, establishing a blog, Facebook page or group, MySpace page or group, and linking to the national office pages).
Silver
Chapters receiving “Silver” recognition must meet these criteria:
- In good standing with the national association
- Donation to “NSSLHA Loves” of $250 or more
- Submission to the regional newsletter
- Submission for Chapter Advisor Honors, Chapter Honors, or Member Honors
- Participation in CSD Career Awareness month
- Participation in one or more advocacy activities (write Senator or House representative, provide your Regional Councilor representative with a letter of advocacy to bring to Capitol Hill, meet with your local or state Representative)
Bronze
Chapters receiving “Bronze” recognition must meet these criteria:
- In good standing with the national association
- Donation to “NSSLHA Loves” of $250 or more
- Participation in CSD Career Awareness month
- Participation in one or more advocacy activities (write Senator or House representative, provide your Regional Councilor representative with a letter of advocacy to bring to Capitol Hill, meet with your local or state Representative)
